Day 42 - Resolve!

Resolve your petty problems, now!.... There are some very petty issues which stop us from being close to someone. We might have stopped talking with someone, for an issue which turns out to be of no big deal now. Forgive them, if it were their fault and forgive yourself first if the fault is yours by looking at yourself.

You might be missing the company of some very good people, because of the small misunderstanding. Take some time and resolve the problem for good. Don't get carried away with hatred or anger. The sole idea must be to resolve the problem and not grow it.

If they were your high school friends, or college friends, then give a call and inquire. If they work with you, or your neighbor, family members then talk to them in person. In the end, its the people you made happy that counts... its better to live with five good friends than fifty enemies...isn't it?

Karma points- 100 per petty issue solved.

Tell me about how you resolved any petty issues and how you felt about it... Have a nice day!

Day 41 - Look at yourself

Imagine a world, without mirrors, do you think you and others would look as good as now? and would be able to keep yourself presentable?... well, its a very hard task to do so. Not doing so would make all of us look undesirable, won't it?. The same goes for our behavior and conduct. Its always good to self-monitor ourselves, our actions and decisions once in a while.

Just like how we see ourselves from the "third person's view" in a mirror, we must look at our actions from the third person's view too. If there is any problem that had come, then there could be some fault on your side too. Seeing the problem from your view point alone might skew your decisions. Its always better then to see it in the other person's perspective. Walking away from the problem and seeing it afar, would give you the big picture.

Today, take some time and look at yourself from another person's view point and try to understand and accept the facts about yourself. Any problems lurking with others due to some situations?... analyze it as if you were some spectator of it and not involved in the situation...

Do write to me about the faults and problems that you found out by "looking at yourself" and how you might try to change it... Have a nice day!... :)

Day 40 - The Big Picture

This is something we all know and yet don't follow. On the 40th Day, I would like to remind you of the Big picture of life...

We do what we do for love and finally end up being blind of love. We hurt the ones who love us and get hurt by the ones we love, we cry for people who don't notice us and ignore the ones who would cry for us. Its with so much selfish intentions that we love, and we expect other to be selfless.

Its pretty simple... You reap what you sow. If you are caring for someone, you will surely be cared by someone too. That is how things work, call it Karma or Newtonian Theory. But, we fail to recognize this and grieve for loss and smear for profits, but in the end, all is pretty balanced.

The more care and love given out, the more we shall receive and to show it, we need some motivation. That, you will have to do daily, as a practice. Until, kindness, becomes your nature.
/
Ask these questions to yourself. Why do you work/ play/ buy/ learn/ read/ write/ workout/ earn/ socialize?... A part of it is to be noticed by others and to be offered love. According to Transactional Analysis, these are called "Strokes". A person wants strokes, to keep themselves sane. Thus we act well, and if we don't receive (good)strokes, we act bad, and if we still don't receive (bad)strokes, you fall into depression.

Thus, every unpleasant act by someone, is because of the lack of (good)strokes, and understanding this, you can give lots of such "good storkes" to people you know, keeping them sane and pleasant. If the benefits of it is understood properly, then the world might be more pleasant.

I hope, the Big picture was "re-introduced" in this post to you... Please do give me your valuable feedback on this... Have a nice day!... :)

Day 39 - Serve!

Take your time to serve some food for your loved ones. Serving food shows some affection and while serving so, put in lots of positive thoughts and love into the food being served.

Serve for your friends, family and colleagues, for a day and you will see the difference of atmosphere, with all the sharing and caring. Unlike anything in this world, it is only food that when you serve even the greediest would say "enough", and serving adds a personal touch, that you would be in the prominent part of their memory lane... :)

Karma Point - 50 per serve.

Keep me posted on your "Serving Experience"... Have a nice day!.. :)

Day 38 - Thought Matters!

At one point its only thought that matters. Send some positive thoughts out to your loved ones. Let them be  near you or far away. A thought would definitely send a wave of enthusiasm over them, bringing them a new profound joy. As the Karma works, you might be in their thoughts too. When you feel lonely, or on the contrary, full of love, send some love to others. Think of them, and send your postive thoughts as thoughts can reach any where is split seconds...

Karma Points - 10 per thought ...

Well, I am sending some positive energy to the readers and followers rite now...

Have a Great Day!...

Day 37 - Say Yes!

Be a "Yes" man and there is a lot that you can achieve. When a person says "no" for all the help that he could do, he is missing out oppurtunities of being needed. In the end, isn't it all that we need?... to be needed for!... But, we tend to forget the big picture and stop being there for others and making ourselves obselete. When you say yes, you learn a lot too and you would definitely get something in return, as that's how Karma roles.

When you are asked a favor and you cannot do it, instead of abruptly saying no and putting a stop, say yes and try what you can do. Atleast give a fair chance of trail, or give a solution to the problem. If not for anything, people might come to you, just for the suggestion that you might give...
