Day 47 - Find Love and Take it!

No... not through dating sites and all that... Just the love that you can see daily... a mom taking care of her baby, a friend letting another to sleep on his shoulders... a kid sharing an ice cream with his friend... as love, unlike hate, doesn't make any noise... it sweeps through us daily, in a silent way, and we can find them more and more when we look for them... but to ease up your mind at times of hard fate... take a piece of the love you found... write about the love that you witnessed today in your journal or take a photograph of it, or draw a picture about that love you witnessed... and if you find more, then drop a coin in jar for every act of love or kindness you have seen that day... Then, you would believe in love, kindness and compassion...and you get more of it, when you give it the attention it needs... :)

Day 44 - Cleanliness for cause

A very common saying is that "What is inside, is outside", which means that when you are good in the inside, it shows, in your style, life and almost everything. That is why, its important to keep the outside, fit and fresh, clean and glowing, for a healthier and vibrant inside.

When you find our decisions clouded and your life messed up, just look around you. Do you see things undone or out of place?. Then leave your worries behind for sometime and take up your time of worrying in doing the wrong things rite. Keep things in order, throw away the old and worthless stuff and keep vibrant and beautiful things around you.

The more beautiful , wealthy and happy things in the outside you see, makes you smile and keeps you fresh in the inside. When you start cleaning and arranging your home, room or cubicle, your clouded mind would open up and makes you feel better. The possibility of change enters your mind and gives you a sweet mood change.

A little demonstration to prove my point...

See these two pictures and observe them. Now observe your mind and its decisions. Seeing which do you feel happy and elated, with a clear mind set?. This is why some people are very particular on the way their home looks...

Post me a picture of your house, before and after cleaning it and tell me about your mood change after cleaning and arranging the outside, that made you feel in the inside...

Have a nice day!... :)

Day 42 - Resolve!

Resolve your petty problems, now!.... There are some very petty issues which stop us from being close to someone. We might have stopped talking with someone, for an issue which turns out to be of no big deal now. Forgive them, if it were their fault and forgive yourself first if the fault is yours by looking at yourself.

You might be missing the company of some very good people, because of the small misunderstanding. Take some time and resolve the problem for good. Don't get carried away with hatred or anger. The sole idea must be to resolve the problem and not grow it.

If they were your high school friends, or college friends, then give a call and inquire. If they work with you, or your neighbor, family members then talk to them in person. In the end, its the people you made happy that counts... its better to live with five good friends than fifty enemies...isn't it?

Karma points- 100 per petty issue solved.

Tell me about how you resolved any petty issues and how you felt about it... Have a nice day!

Day 41 - Look at yourself

Imagine a world, without mirrors, do you think you and others would look as good as now? and would be able to keep yourself presentable?... well, its a very hard task to do so. Not doing so would make all of us look undesirable, won't it?. The same goes for our behavior and conduct. Its always good to self-monitor ourselves, our actions and decisions once in a while.

Just like how we see ourselves from the "third person's view" in a mirror, we must look at our actions from the third person's view too. If there is any problem that had come, then there could be some fault on your side too. Seeing the problem from your view point alone might skew your decisions. Its always better then to see it in the other person's perspective. Walking away from the problem and seeing it afar, would give you the big picture.

Today, take some time and look at yourself from another person's view point and try to understand and accept the facts about yourself. Any problems lurking with others due to some situations?... analyze it as if you were some spectator of it and not involved in the situation...

Do write to me about the faults and problems that you found out by "looking at yourself" and how you might try to change it... Have a nice day!... :)
